How You Can Help Us:


  • Ensuring health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Develop ideas to improve the safety and environmental integrity of the process.
  • Develop and apply systems for ongoing assessment and improvement of current and new products.
  • To aid in the development of Production Systems using lean manufacturing philosophy.
  • Designing new systems and processes for the introduction of new products or for the improvement of existing ones.
  • Development of processes using risk evaluation and analysis such as PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) that ensures continuous improvement and high performance.
  • To generate and maintain Process Plans for each new process using current cycle times, to determine the machinery and labour requirements.
  • To generate the Capex from the Process Plans and keep this updated with all the purchases/costs for the process, ensuring that cost and delivery targets are met.
  • To ensure that the set quality, capability and performance criteria as outlined by the company is maintained through continuous development of the process.
  • To source machine suppliers and develop detailed machine specifications to ensure good quality products can be manufactured at all times.
  • To update and issue the relevant documentation for new and existing processes to ensure the process is running to spec.
  • To give ongoing support to Production through any issues with the process by investigating and modifying/improving where appropriate.
  • To generate and maintain CAD drawings for new and existing machinery.
  • To create and continuously review the machine specifications developed from the PFMEA/ control plans.
  • To provide KPI’s where necessary / asked in line with role and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to new projects and new products introduction to ensure effective introduction.
  • Where necessary help the introduction of new product systems to ensure effective introduction.
  • Provide engineering support for the assigned process and production on daily basis.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process issues focused on quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Serve as the technical contact and expert for the process. Become an expert in the equipment, process, and products of the area.
  • Act as principal investigator investigating process problems, developing solutions and preparing related recommendations and reports.
  • Developing new manufacturing processes, process specifications, and qualification documents compliant with quality-system practices
  • Qualify new equipment and processes through written plans, statistically-based conclusions, and multifunctional review of documents
  • Interacting extensively with teams in a variety of disciplines, quality assurance, maintenance, manufacturing, sales and new-product development.
  • Supporting/training of the operations team on new equipment
  • To fulfill and reasonable request.
