Production Engineer Competitive Salary Monday to Friday 40-hour weeks Established manufacturer. Respected partner to the Aviation industry Great company culture We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for a Production Engineer / Planner. The Role Provide engineering support for the manufacturing facility Read, understand engineering drawings with a keen eye for detail and understanding of how to transfer the data on drawings into BOMs on the ERP system (Syteline / SAP). Overall responsibility for the analysis, planning and management of all Manufacturingorders, workloads, Bill of Materials, and related documentation/databases. Preparation/updating of new/existing manufacturing process documentation (SOPs) andassociated tooling required for product manufacture Deliver appropriate training to colleagues in Manufacturing Planning procedures/Syteline system. Co-ordinate planning, material, and system updates/changes in result of designchanges/modifications/deviations etc; and ensure adherence to GQCP and othersystem/process control procedures. Oversee procedures and conformance by Production staff in job time/progress booking:and adherence to job-track/ERP processes. Ensure production schedules are assessed in advance and all materials requirements arecreated/actioned to fulfil in-house Manufacturing, Outsource, free-issue and subcontractdemands. About you Proven skills, knowledge and experience in understanding engineering drawings Knowledge in one or more of the following areas. Vac form, machine shop, injectionmoulding or final assembly.
