What will you be involved in as their Production Engineer?

  • Process Improvements: using your expertise, take a helicopter view of the shop floor and spot where immediate or future improvements can be made and execute against them. This could be the layout of machinery or a method of manufacturing.
  • Look at our clients more historic product lines and take the reins on how the product could be improved - from a design or production perspective.
  • Collaborate with the Research and Development team on DFM, this is not just pushing products back to design but working as a team to demonstrate what works and what doesnt.
  • Que most exciting bit! You will take a proactive role in building Testing Stands and this will include you and the team going out into the field to put our clients product to some of the ultimate tests (ask for more info)

What do you need to demonstrate on your CV to be shortlisted?

  • 2-3 years of experience working as a Production Engineer, Production Design Engineer or Production Process Engineer. OR you might be in design engineering and looking for a change of career, which your current employer cannot accommodate.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and/or electromechanical manufacturing methods and processes
  • Right to work in the UK, the only down side to this role is that the company cannot provide immediate or future sponsorship requests
