Job Description

Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a production engineer to work for our client in the North West who specialise in cutting edge technology. The successful candidate will work within the production team but have a strong background in mechanical engineering particularly analysing processes, product improvement and design reviews.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Implementing continuous improvement strategies using 5s and Kaizen.
2. Finding the root cause to problems that arise.
3. Experience of mechanical design utilising Siemens NX, Ansys or similar.
4. Experience in mechanical engineering and advantageously electrical engineering.
5. Ability to create work instructions and SOPs.
6. Experience in the manufacture of electro mechanical assemblies and high volume environments.
7. Develop product test and reliability specifications.

Qualifications:

1. Qualification in Mechanical engineering.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvements such as 5s and kaizen.
3. Experience in production engineering.
4. Experience within electro-mechanical assemblies.
