Fella and Jones are delighted to be partnered with this Global Women's Contemporary Luxury brand in the search of a Product & Garment Technologist on Womenswear. Reporting into the Head of Technical, you will work closely with the team in-house and external manufacturers from prototype through to delivery, working closely with designers on a daily basis to help develop the product as well as plan and run all fit meetings.
The company are interested in discussing this exciting new opportunity with candidates who have a strong understanding of Grading/ Testing as well as Garment Construction
- Management of tech packs for new styles including consumptions and construction notes
- Working alongside the production team to develop CADs and develop prototypes
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of garment construction, pattern cutting, fitting, and grading
- Understanding of testing, analysing test reports, and garment care
- Strong knowledge of women’s RTW ideally at a luxury level
- Pre-empting and eliminating any potential production issues in line with the critical path
- Strong experience of working within a luxury retailer/supplier/manufacturer
