With a global reach and a strong presence in Macclesfield, the firm employs over 500 staff members and is continually expanding its operations.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong><br>This position is for a Production Manager to the department, overseeing all production activities within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing firm based in Macclesfield:</p><p><strong>•</strong> Manage and oversee all production activities within the assembly department.<br><strong>•</strong> Maintain a clear understanding of the company’s strategic objectives.<br><strong>•</strong> Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency.<br><strong>•</strong> Ensure all production activities align with health and safety regulations.<br><strong>•</strong> Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.<br><strong>•</strong> Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.<br><strong>•</strong> Develop and manage the production budget.<br><strong>•</strong> Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.</p><p><strong>The Successful Applicant</strong><br>A successful Production Manager should have:</p><p><strong>•</strong> A proven track record as a production manager in an industrial or FMCG manufacturing environment.<br><strong>•</strong> Experience managing a production team in an assembly environment or similar process.<br><strong>•</strong> Knowledge of electrical assembly processes would be helpful but not essential<br><strong>•</strong> Strong leadership and team management skills.<br><strong>•</strong> Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.<br><strong>•</strong> Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations<br><strong>•</strong> People development and the ability to up-skill your workforce is essential.</p><p><strong>What’s on Offer<br></strong><strong>•</strong> A competitive salary range, estimated between £55,000 to £60,000 per annum, plus a bonus scheme.<br><strong>•</strong> Opportunity to work in a highly regarded company in the industrial/manufacturing sector.<br><strong>•</strong> A supportive company culture that values teamwork and continuous learning.<br><strong>•</strong> The unique opportunity to lead and develop a key department within the firm.</p>
