Since our inception in 2014, we have brought experience, resources, and talent to the thriving sector of food manufacturing, catering to millions of consumers seeking the finest ingredients, superb taste, and texture in a healthy snack bar. </p><p><strong> The Opportunity: </strong></p><p> This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join the team and be moulded to become the future site manager of Brighter Foods. As a Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the performance of our bar lines, coordinating teams, activities, and resources to ensure the delivery of production plans profitably, efficiently, on time, and in line with safety and quality standards. You will be accountable for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices, people management and development, working collaboratively with other departments to meet the overall needs of the business. </p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li> Manage the performance of the bar production lines, ensuring production plans are delivered profitably, efficiently, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. </li><li> Collaborate with other line managers to build a values-based culture, putting people at the heart of every decision and ensuring a positive experience for colleagues. </li><li> Build and maintain positive relationships within the team, between shifts and departments, and with key internal and external stakeholders. </li><li> Lead teams through change, coordinating with other managers to plan communication, anticipate challenges, and maximise benefits while minimising negative impacts. </li><li> Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to ensure production plans are attainable, including necessary contingency provisions, and drive departmental and shared action plans to achieve business objectives. </li><li> Manage operational teams, sharing insights with cross-functional teams to optimize resources and coordinate plans for maximum operational performance. </li><li> Ensure continuous preparedness for internal and third-party audits, achieving the highest grade against external standards, and demonstrating excellence during audits. </li></ul><p><strong> The Ideal Candidate: </strong></p><p> We believe that success is built upon collaboration and diverse perspectives. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: </p><ul><li> Experience within the food manufacturing industry is preferable but not essential </li><li> Experience in a similar role managing production teams across multiple shifts </li><li> Able to demonstrate a track record of continuous improvement and root cause analysis is essential </li><li> Demonstrate budget management (essential) </li><li> Able to translate data analysis into meaningful database decisions in a format presentable to Senior THG stakeholders </li><li> Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (continuous improvement) </li><li> A positive, solution-focused mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement. </li><li> Excellent communication skills, especially face-to-face, with the ability to adapt to different people and situations. </li><li> Experience in project work would be advantageous. </li><li> An understanding of the impact of production on all aspects of business performance. </li><li> Engineering qualifications/experience is highly desirable but not essential </li></ul><p><strong> What’s on offer: </strong></p><ul><li> Relocation Allowance (if applicable) </li><li> 25 Days Holidays + bank holidays </li><li> Auto-enrolment pension </li><li> Discounts across THG Brands </li></ul><p>Because of the high volumes of applications our opportunities attract, it sometimes takes us time to review and consider them all.
