Production Operative - Day Shift Posted on June 17th, 2024 by Bradford £ - £ per hour Type of Job: Temporary Fantastic opportunity to work Days as a Production Operative at our client's busy bakery site, specialising in sweet treats including mince pies, sweet muffins, and cupcake bases, as well as tasty garlic baguettes and garlic slices. Staffline is recruiting for a Production Operative in Bradford. This is a full-time role working a fixed day shift and the hours of work are: - 6am to 6pm The rate of pay is: - £ for first 12 weeks - £ after 12 weeks (day shift) - £ after 12 weeks (nights and rotational shifts) Overtime is available on weekends at this site and is paid at £ per hour. Your Time at Work As a Production operative, your duties will include: - Measuring, grading, and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery - Operating production line equipment - Assembling goods on a production line - Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff - Finishing products, for example, applying protective coatings - Monitoring the production process Our Perfect Worker Our ideal production operative will have strong attention to detail and be able to work well with others. They will remain calm in stressful situations, be patient and work well under pressure. It is important for all candidates to be flexible with strong communication skills. The role is physical and requires endurance, coordination and dexterity. Our production operatives will use computers or hand-held scanners within the warehouse environment. Experience in a similar role as a production operative, or warehouse operative is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
