Working closely with the Purchasing department to ensure raw material is available to support the plan.Our Production Planner perks and benefits are:Competitive Salary25 days holidaySalary sacrifice pension schemeFree onsite parkingHealthcare cash planProduction Planner OverviewThe focus of this role is too:Review and update minimal inventory and re-order parameters to ensure that finished goods are held at optimal levels.Create a plan which meets customer requirements, both internally and externally.Support the Production Planning Manager / Department regarding all aspects of Production Planning.Work closely with the planning and materials manager and other departments to produce daily production planning schedules.Work with the production team to ensure that the production can meet the current and ongoing demand requirementsPrepare relevant reports around or slab material availability.Analyse data from a variety of sources to develop and provide management information.Monitor and maintain finished goods inventory levels in accordance with set targets.Ensure all production planning activities support the overall Customer Service performance targets.Work closely with other departments and members of the management team when required.Attend, when required, management meetings to present production planning information.Achieve and contribute towards personal and departmental targets and KPI’s.About you!Experience of working in a production planning environment.Self-starter, able to act on own initiative.Tenacious and resilientFlexible, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguityStrong IT skills – Word and Excel and the ability to easily adapt to new systems/ packages.Excellent interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externallyStrong written and oral communication skillsMinimum of 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English)3 years’ or more experience in a similar roleDesirableExperience of working with and developing administration systems.About usAt Masonite, we believe a door is more than just a door; and we also know that the employees who build our doors are more than just employees, they work in environments that promote a culture of creativity, collaboration, adaptability and integrity based on a strong commitment to our vision.In 1924, William Mason did not change the industry when he created Masonite, he created a new one, one that transformed waste into worth and materials into what matters.
