With a long established presence on a UK wide scale and a consistent order book this opportunity will appeal to a candidate looking for job security and a technical challenge.Role Description Complete Customer complaint investigationsMake sure that their shift is manned up to the required levels, controlling/managing planned and unplanned absence updating workday systemComplete back to work interviews in a timely manner to the correct standardManage their teams working hours and monitor them in line with their annualised hour requirements, so they come into lineComplete accident investigations when required and input into on-site systemTo ensure that the machines and systems placed under their control are run to optimise performanceUtilise the DSL system to drive improvements in efficiencyCommunicate to all departments formal and informal at the required timesManage teams training and development needs and maintain training record/matrixEnsure their shift is maintained to high level of H&S , and any issues are communicated in a timely manner and actions completedEnsure Environmental management system is followed and adhered to complying with BS EN ISO 14001/50001Lead and manage 5S processSkills and Qualifications Extensive knowledge and experience in production management roleExperience working across FMCG, Food or Heavier Manufacturing EnvironmentsLean Experience & Improving Operations experienceStrong people management skills and cultural awarenessCompany Information
