Production Supervisor Location : Wrexham Salary : circa of £30,000 Hours : full- time Contract: Permanent An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join an established company based in Wrexham. Applicants will be required to oversee a team of manufacturing operatives, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and growth. This role demands a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold the high standards of production our company is known for. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Production Oversight: Monitor and manage daily production activities to meet quality and production targets. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity, with a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Ability to assess and manage 6s. Training & Development: Provide training and support to team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively. Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Communication: Serve as a liaison between the manufacturing team, our customers, and the senior management team. ________________________________________ Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a fast-paced, multi-product manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Manufacturing or Engineering is desirable but not essential. Kaizen/Six Sigma accreditations are advantageous.
