The Production Supervisor’s role organises and manages the output of a team of Production Workers with a focus on Health & Safety, quality, departmental efficiency, and reducing waste. The Production Supervisor mentors and develops the Production Workers to build a successful team that are well trained and flexible.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work with departments such as quality, customer services and engineering as well as reporting to management, handling disciplinary events and recruiting new employees. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a minimum of an HNC level of qualification in a technical or relative discipline.
Production Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that the relevant Health and Safety aspects are adhered to as well as a high standard of housekeeping.

Requirements
We are looking for a logical, organised, and enthusiastic individual with a good level of PC literacy, with good Excel experience. Experience using an MRP system is advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as an innovate and analytical thought process. The successful candidate will have a good eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret system information, work instructions and procedures.
Whilst this position is for day shift, future opportunities to work on other shifts may be available.
