Production Support Engineer - Technology-Empowered Hedge Fund

WFH Stance: 4 Days in the office, 1 Day from home weekly.

Overview:

A billion-dollar Hedge Fund, who have one of the largest open-source footprints on the market, is currently looking for a ‘Production Support Engineer’ to join the global, business-critical support function responsible for providing high-to-low touch user support to the entire EMEA trading teams.

You will be liaising with the front-office trading teams daily, ensuring stability and efficiency of the production environment, whilst providing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to the algorithmic trading systems, the internal exchange connectivity system, and the risk systems that operate on hybrid environments (Windows and Linux).

They're looking for an enthusiastic candidate with 2 years + of experience within a similar field (investment banking is ideal), to hit the ground running and really make this role their own.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in ‘Support’ role.
• Experience with any scripting language is beneficial (Ideally Python or Bash).
• Prior experience with financial products/asset classes is beneficial (Equities, Futures, Commodities, and FX.. etc)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a MUST.
