Our Ledbury based client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with people management skills to organise the production function whilst leading a small team within a growing business. You will be responsible for supervising a small team of production workers to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining production schedules, meeting quality standards, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
What you can expect:
Salary circa £26'000 per annum depending on experience
Working hours: 7.30am
4pm (30mins for lunch),
Performance related bonus

What you will be doing:
Lead, motivate, and coach a team of production personnel to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
Collaborate with the production planning and scheduling team to ensure optimal utilisation of resources and adherence to production schedules
Monitor and adjust workflow to meet changing production needs and priorities
Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed
Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members
Any other reasonable duties as required by senior management
What we are looking for:
Prior production leadership experience would be advantageous
Proven track record of achieving targets and driving production growth
Holds a valid fork lift license
Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control standards, ideally within a food/bottling
Basic ability to trouble shoot day to day mechanical/electrical machine fault would be beneficial
Excellent leadership and people management skills
A genuine foodie with an excitement to work for a growing food & beverage brand
