Due to significant growth, our client is looking to hire an experienced Professional Indemnity Insurance Underwriter.
Although this can be a largely remote position, you will be required to be in fairly close proximity to at least one of their offices which are based in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, London. As part of the role, you will be expected to occasionally attend the office, particularly in the early stages when undertaking any training needs.

Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous PII Underwriter to join our client's team in assessing and managing a portfolio of risks .
You will be required to:
- Underwrite new and renewal PII business and MTA's.
- Assist the PI team with their day-to-day duties.
- Develop and manage relationships with both new and existing insurance brokers.
- Work closely with internal staff and team members
The following experience/skills are an essential requirement for this role:
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a PII Underwriting role
- Maintain good working relationships with internal departments.
- Being able to absorb information quickly is essential.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Good product and technical knowledge within the UK PI insurance market
- Be self-motivated with the drive and determination to learn and grow within an existing team.
- Being a team player as well as be confident to work on your own initiative.
