About the role:
- The team is well known for defending complex professional negligence claims against a wide range of professionals
- The team defends claims against solicitors, accountants, financial advisers, insurance brokers, architects, engineers, surveyors and technology and media professionals, we also provide policy coverage advice
- You would spend two or more days per week in the Leeds office, but the role comes with flexibility as to where to spend the rest of your time
- The successfulProfessional Indemnity Solicitor will be acting for a number of large and high-profile insurer clients and their insureds, defending court proceedings in the High Court and County Court as well as disciplinary proceedings
About you:
- Ideally, you will have experience in defending professional negligence claims, but certainly with experience in complex commercial litigation.
- You will need to demonstrate an understanding of key principles relevant to commercial litigation and professional negligence claims
