A leading national full-service law firm is hiring a Professional Negligence Lawyer with a claims and complaints focus to join their team in Hertfordshire on a hybrid working basis.
Experience handling professional negligence claims and complaints from start to finish is essential for this job.
The purpose of this role is to handle the claims and complaints for the firm, supporting other lawyers handling complaints and providing training to avoid claims. You will also guide the business to develop compliance policies and procedures, undertake internal audits, and advise on AML and ethics.
This is a broad and exciting opportunity to get involved in a variety of compliance-related issues including claims and complaints and a chance to have a really meaningful impact on the firm's risk and compliance function.
You will ideally need to be able to demonstrate regulatory and compliance technical expertise in areas such as data protection, conflicts of interest, audits, and AML, as well as an up-to-date awareness of relevant legislation and the SRA Code of Conduct.
