Job Description
The Professional Negligence Solicitor will join a large team and get involved in a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Managing a diverse portfolio of professional negligence claims against professionals.
- Acting for Insurance companies and self insured professionals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Getting involved in pre action and litigated files.
- Instructing counsel and experts.
- Dealing with ADR including mediation.
- Contributing to the team's knowledge by sharing expertise and experiences.
- Participating in business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Professional Negligence Solicitor should have:
- Trained with a regional, national or international law firm.
- Experience in handling professional negligence cases or Litigation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Likely to be between 0-2 years PQE.
- Ties to Leeds.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills.
