Title: Programme Manager

Contract Type: 12 Month FTC Maternity Cover

Location: Cray House, Sidcup/ West Ham Lane, Stratford or Sale Point, Manchester

Persona: Agile/ hybrid, Office based 20-40% dependent on business needs

Salary: London weighted starting from £57,606/ Regional - Outside of London starting from £50,399

We are looking for a senior level, experienced, and capable colleague to work within L&Q’s Transformation Programme. Reporting to a Senior Programme Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a complex and transformational programme of work that will help deliver L&Q’s Future Shape strategy.

We are seeking a natural leader who is capable of both shaping and delivering complex programmes of work across the Transformation Programme.

They should be a brilliant communicator and be able to influence a range of stakeholders from across the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

Programme management of specific work within the Transformation Programme

Leading core members of the Transformation Team as well as other Programme Team resource from across the business

Ensuring effective reporting and assurance on the delivery of work thereby enabling good governance practice across the wider Transformation Programme

Ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the various project lifecycles in adherence to the Change Management framework and best practice

Budget Management across various programmes of work

We seek a leader who can use their skills to help shape and deliver brilliant outcomes for colleagues and residents through the Transformation Programme.

As such, the key skills required include, but are not limited to:

Leadership

Experienced leader of both direct and indirect reports, and adept at enabling them to be the best they can be, in support of successful outcomes for them and L&Q. High level of competence at delivering through others

Programme Management

Expertise in programme and project management frameworks and methods, and experience in their application in a large, complex setting. Ideally with experience in commercial and not-for-profit organisations

Risk Management

Highly confident and capable at identifying risks and implementing mitigation to manage these collaboratively

Communication and Influencing

Highly adept at communication through all media, at all levels, internally and externally.

A capable and competent senior level representative of L&Q Group. Strong influencer.

Able to operate successfully as a leader in a large, complex business setting, influencing for business wide change and delivering through others, with an emphasis on driving operational excellence and simplification of outcomes
