Language Empire is a leading provider of face to face interpreters to public sector organizations across the UK. We offer a wide range of interpreting services in more than 500 languages, including BSL (British Sign Language), simultaneous and conference interpreting services and translation services. We are looking for a Project Administrator to join our team. As the Project Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and completion of projects to meet client requirements. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of project milestones
  • Provide administrative support to project co-ordinators as necessary for the successful completion of projects
  • Create and maintain project files and documentation including client information, project plans, and status reports
  • Ensure all project-related documents are up to date and properly stored to enable easy retrieval when required
  • Communicate with project managers to coordinate project work and ensure deadlines and budgets are met
  • Participate in meetings, take notes, and provide administrative support to ensure smooth execution of all projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in project coordination or administrative support
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
