Job Description

Main responsibilities include:

To provide project support to the corporate team and coordinate activities required to successfully deliver election projects to client organisations.

Duties may include drafting project specifications, performing quality assurance checks, attending client meetings and other administrative tasks as required.

To produce reports as required for the Sector Manager or Deputy Manager, for example giving updates on current projects.

To understand and implement the project management methodology and procedures of the department/company.

To understand and implement the compliance policies and procedures of the business to ensure risks relating to quality, information security, business continuity and health and safety are adequately managed and that any issues are effectively addressed with the support of sector and department leaders.

To collaborate with more senior colleagues to receive enquiries from clients and to obtain all relevant information necessary for the efficient and lawful conduct of a project and to coordinate the delivery of the requirements with other departments.

To be flexible in meeting client needs and working out of office/weekend hours where needed and instructing Sector Managers and other departments where assistance is required.

Essential requirements:

Curious to learn and develop new skills to become a subject matter expert in election management

Excellent communication, presentation, and meeting skills: both verbal and written

Creative and pragmatic problem-solving approach and looking for innovation and development in the products and services we offer

Strong team-player

Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage projects at different stages of progress

Confident in working with people at all levels and to communicate accordingly

Be able to prioritise, multitask and juggle various tasks at one time

Have excellent attention to detail

Understand risk and issue management

Demonstrate a high level of innovative thinking and creativity
