Market leading, dynamic and highly respected Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director to have full operational and commercial responsibility for a high profile and technically challenging highways infrastructure project with a value of circa £90m.

Reporting to the Operations Director and working within the divisions most senior management team, this individual will have responsibility for the strategic management, control and running of the project to achieve first class project delivery within the require quality, commercial, contractual and time constraints
The suitable candidate will lead the entire project team in order to ensure the delivery of the project safely and to time, cost, quality and sustainability targets, meeting the individual needs and expectations of the client. They will have responsibility for the delivery of financial performance, quantify risk, acknowledge and understand commercial implications, manage the performance and success of the scheme and lead the team, creating a strategy of employee retention and talent management.
They will have a track record of delivery of major civil engineering projects and be a proven leader with the stature, flair, drive and managerial expertise to play a key part in company’s plans for growth and provide leadership, inspiration and direction in order to create a highly astute, motivated and forward thinking team. Strong client liaison skills are paramount as is the ability to build effective business relationships at the highest level within client organisations and both externally and internally.

Salary & Benefits: circa 100,000 to £120,000 per annum plus executive benefits package including attractive bonus
