This Project Engineer position is based at our site in Portsmouth, sits within our bespoke engineering solutions business, where we develop life-support systems in critical workspace, oxygen and carbon capture based solutions, water purification, rugged electronics for harsh environments and precision engineering of high-integrity equipment.
At CMS2, we specialise in the design and manufacture of atmospheric control systems for the defence industry and are part of Science Group Plc.
The Role
The Project Engineer will coordinate and facilitate key engineering activities on projects, working alongside Project Managers and the Project Engineering Manager to ensure the technical content of the project is delivered successfully to the customer’s requirements. Working with the wider team some the key responsibilities and tasks will be:
As the project engineer, you will lead the design and development activities relating to the projects, overseeing the flow of information from technical specialists undertaking work related to the project. You will ensure there is clear reporting on the delivery of tasks and work packages; this will assist the project manager in accurately delivering the project plan.
