<div><p>Are you ready to take on a dynamic role as a Project Engineer? We are looking for a skilled individual to lead mechanical projects at one of our chemical manufacturing clients sites.</p><p><strong>The Role: </strong></p><p>– Monday – Friday 8am-4pm </p><p>– Department – Process Safety </p><p>– Contract – Permenant – On-Site</p><p>– 33 days – includes bank holiday entitlement </p><p>– Company Pension – Company contributes 3% and the employee contributes 5%</p><p>– Healthcare – Eligible for BUPA cover after 6 months probationary period.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>– Manage all project phases from design to evaluation.</p><p>– Develop innovative designs to address challenges and create equipment specifications.</p><p>– Plan project requirements, costs, and timelines.</p><p>– Identify and oversee necessary resources and external contractors.</p><p>– Mitigate project risks and ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality project delivery.</p><p>– Communicate change requests clearly and effectively.</p><p>– Contribute to design verification and improvement initiatives.</p><p>– Participate in meetings and effectively follow up on instructions.</p><p>– Create and update engineering drawings, including isometrics.</p><p>– Ensure project compliance with codes, policies, and performance standards.</p><p>– Fulfill any duties assigned by a Senior Manager</p><p><strong>Essential Skills:</strong></p><p>– Minimum of 5 years relevant mechanical project management experience</p><p>– Technically proficient in mechanical design and maintenance of equipment such as agitators, reactors and pumps</p><p>– Good working knowledge of the chemical industry, including agitated semi-batch reactors</p><p>– Management systems such as Permit-to-Work, Management of Change & Lockout – Tagout</p><p>– Experience working with a plant maintenance system</p><p>– Experience of a COMAH site</p><p>If you are a proactive problem-solver with a passion for project management, join this amazing team and make a real impact!</p><p>To apply direct please send your CV and Cover letter to hannah.madden@gpwrecruitment.co.uk or call 01744-452-028 for more information. </p></div>
