Position: Project EngineerSector: ManufacturingLocation: Gaydon - Hyrbid workingPosition Type: Contract - 12 month rollingInside / Outside IR35: Inside IR35Salary: £32.70phAbout the companyI am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The Model Build and NGD team is responsible for the planning, co-ordination, and delivery of (Non-Geometric / Technical) engineering data required to build simulation (CAE) models.Job DescriptionAs Project Engineer your main responsibilities are:You will develop close working relationships with the Engineering Teams that design programme specific components and systems and deliver the associated engineering data required to parameterise full vehicle models for our simulation activities.Ensure robust delivery plans are in place to deliver collated consistent data on time and to the necessary quality.Experience of project management, planning and deliveryBackground in process development and / or Quality Management SystemsKnowledge of whole vehicle automotive product design and engineeringKnowledge of a range of CAD, CAE and other virtual assessment processes, methods and toolsQualifications / Skills neededThe candidate should be highly driven, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervisionAnalytical and problem-solving skills in approaching technical issue resolutionEffective team player with strong interpersonal skillsWhy work through Contech's?Contechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
