Job Description
We are looking for a Project Engineerto be part of our Project Managementteam, based in Hounslow BYD London Office, and will be required to travel.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Project Management:
- Managing various projects related to bus delivery, product launches, and process improvements.
- Create project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources to ensure timely execution and delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future projects.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of project plans, closely tracking and assessing their progress.
- Prepare project reports, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize project performance.
Business Support:
- Support the sales team in managing customer inquiries, quotations, and satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats
Your profile:
- Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Automotive technical
- At least 2 years of experience in project management roles, preferably in automotive industry.
- Excellent English Skill. Chinese will be a plus.
- Preferably with driving licence
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Result-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Has right-to-work in the UK.
