Our client, a leading International Law Firm, is seeking a 4-6 year PQE associate to join their Project Finance Team.
Role Description
- Provide a high quality legal service to all clients in all aspects of Project Finance.
- Manage transactions from start to finish, including due diligence and structuring exercises, preparing and negotiating key transaction documents and co-ordinating closing.
- Provide strategic corporate advice as required and co-ordinate advice from relevant overseas jurisdictions.
- Attend and represent the firm at client meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain good client relationship skills, gaining clients’ confidence and that of other professionals.
- Contribute to departmental precedents and know-how, including participation in relevant training sessions.
- Input and participate in pitch/panel presentations.
- Identify hot topics and support business development initiatives (including client presentations, webinars, social medial strategy).
Qualifications
- Experience in project finance law and transactions
- Strong understanding of finance and commercial law
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified solicitor with 4-6 years post-qualification experience
- Experience working at a leading international law firm is a plus
