Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Offshore Wind client with the appointment of a Project Integration Manager to join their Edinburgh based team. This is an excellent opportunity for an offshore wind professional to join a unique joint venture.


The Project Integration Manager will oversee the coordination and integration of interfaces into the global development planning for our clients two offshore wind projects in Scotland.


Reporting to the project directors, the successful candidate would be responsible for:

  • as a key contact between all major workstreams, to ensure project interfaces are effectively managed, including but not limited to: Engineering and Technical (turbines, foundations, geoscience, onshore); Grid and Electrical (offshore and onshore substations, export and inter-array cables); Environmental and Consent (onshore consents, offshore consents); Contract and Procurement; Finance; and Supply Chain.
  • communication between internal teams, external consultants, and contractors.
  • and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage expectations and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
  • potential interface risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
  • with the project teams to review interface requirements and ensure technical specifications are aligned with project goals and industry standards.
  • closely with the Supply Chain, Legal and Finance Teams to review contracts and agreements related to interfaces, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and project specifications.
  • opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency gains, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the interface management function.
  • planning resources in real time, identifying and reporting inconsistencies and risks.
  • the Document Control and Project Planning Functions (two people)


Requirements:

  • Qualified in an engineering discipline
  • within the offshore wind industry
  • understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.


Salary: Up to circa £80,000 (negotiable) plus bonus

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week from Edinburgh (2 days per week from home)
