Job Title: Project Manager (Fire Safety Contracts)

Location: M25/South East

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + package


Future Build are working on behalf of a leading provider of fire safety solutions, specialising in the installation of Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) systems and Fire Alarm systems in high-rise residential blocks. With a focus on quality and efficiency, they work closely with large residential contractors to ensure the safety and compliance of buildings.


Job Description:


They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join the team, responsible for overseeing fire safety contracts from initial enquiry through to final completion. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management within the construction industry, particularly in the field of fire safety installations.


Responsibilities:


  • Handle projects from initial enquiry through to final accounts.
  • Undertake full financial control of projects, delivering works efficiently and profitably.
  • Effectively manage installation works on-site while liaising with clients and other departments.
  • Prepare detailed work programs to ensure all labor and deadline requirements are met.
  • Liaise with manufacturing, design, and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contract variations and agree on works where required.
  • Highlight possible problem areas and obtain commercial contractual advice, ensuring contract documentation drawings are correctly designed.
  • Perform any other duties commensurate with your position.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in project managing fire safety contracts, particularly involving AOV and Fire Alarm systems in high-rise residential blocks.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management or construction-related disciplines are desirable.
