Due to the continued expansion of the agency, we are looking for a Project Manager to join us. The main purpose of the role is to oversee operational delivery across specific client accounts. This may involve supporting bigger teams with their design and build exhibits or taking smaller events from the design process right through to the final delivery onsite. The role's aim is to ensure that final execution of the project is on brief, on time, on budget and delivered to the expected quality standards. Key responsibilities are summarised below:
PROJECT DUTIES
- Work in close collaboration with the Client Services team to oversee the event calendar of allocated client, understanding operational resourcing requirements.
- Acts as a client liaison for operational delivery aspects of projects.
- Work in collaboration with the Account Manager to brief internal teams.
- Work with the Head of Production on global contractor selection for delivery across account operation.
- Lead the pre-site and on-site project management of flagship projects
- Identify and manage project risk with the support of wider project delivery teams
BUDGET MANAGEMENT:
- Oversee compliance in all projects financial processes.
- Drive margin recovery and enhanced profitability.
- Project cash flow forecasting.
- Identification and management of financial risk.
- Budgeting checks across projects to include (but not limited to) 3rd party costs accuracy, agency fees detail and system use best practice.
OPERATIONAL DUTIES:
- Support the workflow and allocations for the confirmed team based on skillset and availability.
- Providing regular reports on project and individual performance.
- Ability to design, implement and monitor department practices and processes in collaboration with other teams.
The ideal candidate will come from an agency background with experience in project management of brand experiences, exhibit projects or marketing campaigns. Candidates who have experience of delivery in a project manager capacity from other sectors will also be considered.
You'll be solutions focused with a high attention to detail, proven organisational skills and a real passion for high quality project delivery. Candidates will also have experience of presenting information clearly and concisely, both internally and to client and senior stakeholder groups and managing budgets. Being able to remain calm under pressure and make decisions and give clear direction is also essential. Please note that regular travel is to be expected based on the schedule of projects assigned.
