The Advocate Group are delighted to be working exclusively with AB World Foods to find the next key ingredient for their project team.


From Patak’s Indian cooking kits to Tabasco sauce, this world-renowned business has an exciting range of recognisable brand names in its recipe book. Now, AB World Foods are looking to expand their team as they continue to contribute to their strong growth agenda.


They’re on the search for a Project Manager, who will develop and deliver launches and strategic projects through full execution in order to contribute to the business’s continuous growth and NPD pipeline.


The Role:

  • To Lead the scoping, planning and delivery of multiple cross-functional business critical initiatives
  • Create project infrastructure and governance, defining work-streams, setting roles and responsibilities (RACI) and building communication plans
  • Create engagement with the project and workstreams across all stakeholder groups, building a motivated cross -functional team based on trust and collaboration
  • Identify interdependencies and risks and provide insights and plans on how to mitigate them
  • Create, implement and review project timelines, highlighting potential blockages & actual slippages & making recommendations, where relevant
  • Hold project / work stream owners to account on project deliverables
  • Chair appropriate meetings as defined in project governance to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Ensure all required documents are created on time and are fit for purpose eg. Gate docs and that the NPD Process is followed
  • Carry out full project reviews, capturing and embedding process and project learnings, making recommendations on process improvements and support and lead on the implementation of these


The Person:

  • Advanced project management skills (ideally a Project Management qualification eg PRINCE/APM).
  • Proven years of experience of managing timebound projects, ideally within the FMCG market
  • High attention to detail
  • Competent in planning and organisation
  • Comfortable working in a highly complex environment
  • Good communicator able to develop and be part of project teams
  • Commercial awareness and understanding
  • Ability to stakeholder internal and external partners and building significant collaborative relationships
  • Time management and able to deliver at pace
  • A desire to develop and build their career with a genuine sense of self-directed learning and development
