Job Description

Role Summary

Experienced Project Manager with overall responsibility for the successful execution and delivery of multiple, concurrent projects in accordance with their agreed scope, budget, timescales and quality requirements. Active participation – as lead Project Manager - on more complex / strategic projects will also be part of the role.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Responsible for Project Delivery e.g. on time, within budget and to the agreed scope

Adoption and development of effective project management processes and practises in line with PRINCE2

Concurrent project resourcing and management

Change control, Conflicts, Risk and Issue management through to resolution

Key Stakeholder (internal and external) communications and management

Management and chair of project meetings

Approval of time spent and invoicing for allocated projects

KPI / performance reporting for allocated projects

Additional Duties

Perform other duties from time to time as required

Occasional travel to customer sites and some out of hours / weekend work

Skills and Experience:

BSc in relevant area or equivalent experience

Minimum 3 year’s project management experience with demonstrable ability to manage complex/strategic projects

Project Management qualification, PRINCE2 preferred

Prior experience of managing commercial software / IT projects

Experience managing ERP and WMS projects an advantage

Ability to manage expectations

Ability to remain calm in a crisis

Good communication and organisational skills

Flexible and proactive “can do” attitude

Full driving licence
