Job Description
Substantial Hedge Fund seeks a Technical Project Manager on a FTC to support it’s growing fund.
The fund is a multi-manager model with a number of investment pods across the business.
The fund is early in its build of non-investment to support the incoming PM teams and the further build out of different trading desks.
Key duties will involve but not limited to;
- Supporting Head of Business Change with numerous different projects across the fund.
- Engaging with the business to scope and gather requirements effectively and efficiently.
- Take said requirements and define to developers/technology and relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate execution and build.
- Communication through user stores, workflow diagrams and flow charts.
- Engaging with the business and managing key stakeholders throughout project lifecycle;
- Typical projects include;
- System implementation of third party platforms across front and middle office.
- System upgrades.
- Data incorporation and migration.
- Infrastructure build for new trading lines and breaking in to new regions.
- Fund launches.
- PM onboarding and new relationship onboarding.
Experience required;
Immediately available/short notice and palatable for a 6-12 month contract with the view of extension/rolling on.
Project Management/Business Analysis experience in Hedge Fund, Investment Bank or Asset Management is a must.
Broad project coverage is also advantageous with a particular slant to tech projects and system implementation.
Strong business knowledge in regards to hedge fund trading ideally in a multi strategy multi pod environment would also be highly desired.
