Overview
Our client, a leading IT Managed Service Provider in the UK, is looking to appoint a Project Manager to take responsibility for delivering a complex LAN/WLAN network transformation, leading project planning, project control, communication, budget management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Full transformation of both LAN and WLAN across a large enterprise network.
Transformation from Cisco to Aruba, and transforming legacy Aruba to latest technology.
Work closely with client change management forums and systems.
Manage project/programme dependencies, commercials, and stakeholders.
Ensure project requirements are clearly understood and aligned with objectives.
Act as the first point of contact for all project related risks/issues from the project team, and escalating to the Site Manager as required.
Manage project resources, as well as the selection of project suppliers.
Create/review project related documentation.
Key Skills:
Prince2 or PMP qualified, or equivalent.
Prior experience working within a complex enterprise environment.
A track-record in delivering IT infrastructure projects.
Networking project experience, specifically within a LAN/WLAN environment.
Base knowledge of Aruba Networks or Cisco Networks (switching).
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and staff within a project environment.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to build and maintain relationships.
Ability to analyse requirements and assess against the overall needs of the business.
Business-minded, able to understand corporate objectives and communicate technological solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
