Job Description
We are currently working in partnership with an established and renowned consultancy, based in London, who are recruiting for a Project Monitoring Surveyor.
Salary range between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
The ideal candidate will have a QS/BS background and ideally a minimum of 12 months experience in a development monitoring role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Review and appraise costs
- Review programme, procurement and technical reports
- Highlight and advise on project risks, risk transfer and compliance with requisite Funder/ Bank security
- Write high quality reports that express opinions clearly
- Ensuring all project work meets all relevant technical and professional standards on a consistent basis
Experience required:
- Prior roles as a Quantity Surveyor or Building Surveyor
- Preferably a minimum of 12 months experience in a development monitoring role
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Communication skills
- Flexible attitude
- Knowledge of development and construction processes
- Travel to other regional offices may be required
