Role: Project Quantity surveyor
Location: London
This business specialises in Joinery/fit-out projects. Typical projects are worth between £5 million and £12 million, the projects based across central London and Southeast England. The company has been successfully running for 25 years and is known for the renowned high quality projects in central London for exclusive clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has strong background knowledge of Design & Build.
Type: Permanent
Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 + Car Allowance + Package
You’ll be reporting directly into the commercial director while running 1-3 of your own projects worth £5million+
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage price works, negotiation and costs plans
- Negotiate contracts and work schedules
- Meet specific timescales
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
- Contribute on a procurement strategy
- Deliver and manage projects £5million+
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks
To be successful you must:
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in delivering Design & Build projects
- Must be willing to travel into London
- Experience on working on/running fitout projects valued £5million+
