Job Description

JAB Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Project Surveyor on behalf of our Subsea client, based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Our client is expanding our team and are searching for an experienced and self-motivated Project Surveyor, who will provide technical expertise and support to projects and operations.

As a Project Surveyor you will be a subject matter expert and work alongside the team of Project Managers in project planning. You will be responsible for the technical preparations and ensure that projects are delivered in line with the project requirements.

To be successful in this role you need to be able to identify and solve problems efficiently whilst being proficient in planning time and multitasking across diverse projects

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and implement plans and procedures for projects
  • Support survey activities for the projects throughout the project life cycle
  • Liaise with the Data Processing and Reporting team to assist with QA/QC of project data; ensuring that project data is transferred and stored correctly
  • Continue to and advise on the improvement of our procedures and reports
  • Support and recommend the design of our technical solutions
  • Give technical guidance and input to tender proposals
  • Engage in Vessel mobilisations and demobilisations, and deliver project briefings / debriefings

REQUIREMENTS

You need to be proactive professional who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced company. You will have previous experience in a survey/hydrographic survey role and have a technical background.
