Project Team Leader

A leading managed service provider based in Northamptonshire is seeking a Project Team Leader. The company prides itself on delivering proactive IT management and strategic advice to their clients. They provide Network Infrastructure solutions such as Connectivity-as-a-Service, IT Solutions, Mobile Solutions, Cyber and Telephony all focused around the Microsoft stack.
Currently in a high growth phase due to ongoing success they are seeking Project Team Leader with good msp experience to be responsible for leading a small, agile team of 4 individuals to deliver comprehensive IT solutions and managed services to their clients.
The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills and a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals in the execution of various projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
- Collaborate with the IT Director to align projects with business objectives and strategic goals.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to innovate and optimize processes.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members, facilitating professional development and growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security requirements.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading IT projects and managing small teams.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of managed IT services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in project management and IT service delivery (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are advantageous.
