Leading US firm are seeking a projects/construction solicitor at associate level, working on high calibre transactions across the energy and infrastructure sector.
The firm have positioned themselves at the forefront of three intriguing and rapidly evolving sectors - tech & innovation, energy and finance. They represent some of the largest, most active and influential global players in the industry on first-of-a-kind matters, and are widely accredited in the renewable energy space, with a particular expertise in wind energy.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect:
- Drafting, negotiating and/or due diligences EPC contracts used to procure the construction of utility-scale energy projects.
- working extensively with FIDIC "Yellow Book".
- Drafting, negotiating and/or due diligencing offshore wind EPCs.
- Drafting, negotiating and/or due diligencing O&M / servicing agreements for offshore wind projects.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally between 1.5 - 4.5 PQE;
- Trained at a US, Magic or International law firm;
- Strong academics;
- Also, very interested in anyone who has spent time in-house at, or on secondment to, anyone involved in developing, constructing or financing large renewables projects.
