A new opening has become available for aqualified Solicitorwith Property Finance, Banking or Real Estateexperience to join this Scottish independent law firm. The rolecould be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh and issuitable for applicants with at least 2 years of PQE up toAssociate level.

The team providesupport on a wide variety of transactional and banking advisory work, including real estate finance, social housing finance and general banking support. The role will be of a wide-ranging nature but will mainly involve acting for lenders and specialist providers of finance. Relevant banking/property finance experience is desirable for this role, but lawyers with relevant real estate experience are also encouraged to apply.
Core tasks will include:
- Advising clients on banking and real estate finance matters including drafting loan and security documentation associated with different types of finance and legal options.
- Reviewing certificates of title and advisingclients on issues arising.
- Drafting of legal research and papers for client advice and/or wider publication.
- Project managing transactional work and working with other practice areas on multi-disciplinary matters.
- Involvement in business development activities linked to the strategic plan of the practice area and firm
