We have a unique opportunity for a Property Specialist within our Property Asset Management Team.

The Specialist will support the Head of Asset Manager and Group Property Director in delivering the wide ranging Company’s Property Asset Management Strategy

Accountable at a National Level and working cross-functionally with major stakeholders both internally and externally the work will be varied and will focus on maximising returns in the Estate by executing special projects such as monetisation and actioning various ‘value-add’ initiatives such as asset plans, acquisitions, developments and lease re-gears.

This position follows a hybrid model with a 4.5 day working week*

Our teams work from our vibrant head office in Bradford for three days and remotely for a day and a half, Monday to Friday.

Hilmore House, our head office, offers convenient amenities, including a subsidised on-site restaurant, coffee shop, convenience and sample store, a prayer room, free parking, and frequent company wide events and promotions.

We prefer applicants who reside within a reasonable distance from our office.


You'll be responsible for things like this in the role:


● Delivery of existing Asset Management plans and monetisation initiatives.

● Effective monitoring of external teams’ performance using KPIs to deliver projects in line with targets and timelines.

● Undertaking and concluding property due diligence in conjunction with professional advisors.

● Secure the best market contractual terms which offer the most flexibility and protection to Morrisons.

● Drafting of heads of terms, through to the completion of transactional documents with solicitors, focusing on delivering accuracy and speed of transactions.


  • Experience of acquisition, disposal, development and valuation within the commercial property sector.
  • Qualified to degree level (or equivalent).
  • RICS qualification or working towards RICS qualification (Preferred but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of the commercial property sector - planning and development, valuation, legal contracts, technical, landlord and tenant law.
  • Market knowledge - competitor strategy/activity, commercial property / land values, rents, yields, market challenges and constraints
  • Strong negotiation skills - ability to influence a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player that builds and retains relationships
  • Comfortable with regular business travel (full driving licence)
  • Computer literate - Extensive use of mapping software, Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
