Property Tax Senior Manager - CIS Specialist

Our client has a very well-established Property Tax team and Advisory team and they are seeking to add a Senior Manager, ideally with Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) experience.
You will be able to assist clients/contractors in verifying the employment statusof subcontractors, calculate the correct tax deductions, and submit monthly CIS returns to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The team also advise subcontractors to claim refunds or offset their CIS tax deductions against other tax liabilities, such as VAT and Corporate Tax, ensuring accurate record-keeping is maintained for reference, ultimately leading to improved cash flow for the business. In addition, you will assist with tax planning and advise on tax-efficient strategies tailored to the specific needs of a construction business or individual tradesperson.
