We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Proposal Manager to join our London, UK Marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving proposal development to support our growth in the Resources, Transport and Building Engineering Services teams. Collaborating closely with the Head of Marketing Services (UK), you will develop persuasive proposal documents and interview materials, showcasing our engineering capabilities and experience with impactful messaging. You will also assist in the development of client plans that drive market expansion and revenue growth. In the role of Proposal Manager, we'll count on you to: Support pursuit teams in creating and implementing effective win strategies (capture planning)Facilitate pursuit teams to develop persuasive proposal and interview materialsDevelop and manage proposal schedules and confirm complianceEngage the appropriate marketing services resources in pursuit teamsLead quality reviews of proposal and interview materialsFacilitate debriefs to identify improvement opportunities and to measure overall competitivenessDeconstruct and file proposal and presentation material upon submittalTrain and mentor employees on business development and marketing best practicesArticulate HDR's capabilities and competitive advantages Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related fieldDeep knowledge of the industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesDemonstrated ability to motivate and inspire othersAbility and desire to travel and engage with others in-personDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staff #LI-KK2 Required QualificationsA minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightExperience in sales and developing effective win strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
