Job Description:

As a Proposal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward by leading the development and delivery of winning proposals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our proposals are tailored to meet the needs of our clients while effectively communicating our value proposition. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from kickoff meetings to submission, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with requirements.
  2. Strategy and Planning: Work closely with sales, marketing, and subject matter experts to develop winning proposal strategies and themes that resonate with clients.
  3. Content Creation: Write, edit, and/or coordinate the creation of proposal content, including executive summaries, solution descriptions, pricing, and other supporting documents.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client expectations and company standards.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams, including sales, operations, finance, and legal, to gather input and ensure buy-in on proposal content and pricing.
  6. Proposal Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of proposal activities, including status updates, win/loss analysis, and lessons learned, to support continuous improvement efforts.
  7. Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to team members involved in the proposal process, including training on best practices and tools.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in proposal management, with a track record of successfully leading and winning proposals in a competitive business environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messages.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software
