Job Description

A global real estate firm is seeking a Proposal Manager to join its team. The Proposal Manager will have responsibility for managing bids for real estate and facilities management clients. The role involves managing the proposal process, storyboarding, editing and some writing. This role suits someone capable of working independently on bids with turnaround times ranging from 2-8 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire proposal and presentation development process
  • Write, edit, format, and proof all proposal and presentation deliverables.
  • Attend prep sessions for all opportunities in-line with best practice.
  • Support Senior Proposal Managers on the larger bids.
  • Support new content development efforts and strategic firm initiatives as needed.
  • Upload all final deliverables to proposal and presentation libraries.
  • Perform pursuit close-out activities; work with Knowledge Management to ensure revised and new content is uploaded to content library.
  • Support upkeep of content library including improvements to searchability.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in proposal management
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate, coordinate, and respond to global and regional RFIs and RFPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization including senior executives and cross-functional and regional teams
  • Ability to work well and thrive under pressure
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; InDesign and desktop publishing skills are a plus
  • Experience with SharePoint and Salesforce
