Prudential Risk Manager - £70,000-£80,000 - Retail Banking

My client is a leading retail bank based in Leeds who are looking for a Prudential Risk Manager to work across their enterprise risk function. You will cover aspects of market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk, playing a key part in rolling out their ERM framework. The role will offer flexibility to work remotely, although you can expect to be in the office 2-3 days per week.

After recently getting board approval to sign off on their Enterprise Risk Framework, they are looking to build their enterprise risk team to help deliver this. Joining the firm at this time will bring some amazing challenges and opportunities, as well as the opportunity to build key relationships and gain exposure across the Building Society.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand Prudential Regulations in order to write policy and ensure that it meets regulatory requirements.
2. Have exposure to credit, liquidity, and operational risk frameworks.
3. Review ICAAP and ILAAP reporting for the organisation.
4. Build relationships with all business areas to ensure policies are being embedded correctly.
5. Deliver sign-off on all policies implemented across the bank.
6. Work closely with the C-Suite and business users to help implement policies.
7. Challenge users to ensure policies are regularly adhered to.
8. Represent ERM at monthly committee meetings.

Technical Skills:

1. Experience in using Python, SAS, SQL would be advantageous.
