Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking for work relating to your studies?
Do you have (or would like to gain) experience working with individuals with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are working in partnership with schools across Bridgwater and Taunton and the wider Somerset area. We are looking for graduates to help us provide support to children with additional needs. Some of which have a diagnosis of Special Education Needs (SEN) and/ or mental health challenges. If you have recently graduated in any social sciences or health and social care-related degree, then we will have suitable roles for you.
We work with a range of settings, including Primary and Secondary Mainstream schools, Special Schools, Nurseries and Pupil Referal Units. Most of our roles are classroom-based, but some schools take pupils to forest school, outdoor pursuits and other activities utilising nature and the local community e.g. city farms.
If you would like to have the opportunity to work closely with children and young people who have been diagnosed with SEMH and or SEN then we really want to hear from you. This work is hugely rewarding, offering the opportunity for you to encourage pupils to learn through a bespoke curriculum. You will learn a huge amount 'on the job' and build up valuable knowledge of Autism Teaching Techniques, Team Teach, Makaton and Trauma-Informed Approach, as well as much more.
