Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant- Autism Specialism Teaching Assistant
£400 - £450 PAYE Per Week
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm

I work with an excellent special needs school in the London Borough of Merton. I am looking fora passionate and dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to start long-term to permanent roles as early as possible!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to gain practical and clinical experience working with primary or secondary-aged students, 1:1 and in group settings.




What you can expect as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
Your role as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistantwill be to support studentswith special educational needs; however, the role will vary from day to day; you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer a relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path

Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistantrequirements
Educated to degree level
Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
Ideally, previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with autism or other special educational needs
A proactive, positive individual who always strives to meet children's learning needs.
Ability to build rapport with children
