Job Description
Due to the current landlord retiring, a Vibrant Village pub in South Worcestershire serving real ales and freshly cooked food, seeks experienced Manager/Landlord to manage and run the operation.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record and be experienced in all aspects of running a busy pub. This to include:
Managing and keeping the cellar to a high standard
Planning events and special evenings
Making the regular and new customers welcome
Getting involved in the local community, including various sports and social gatherings
Managing and motivating the staff, including the busy kitchen
Strict and accurate financial management, to ensure budgets and targets are met
Stock control and ordering from approved suppliers
Good communication with the management and staff is essential.
The usual working week is 5 days with 28 days holiday per annum including Bank Holidays.
A competitive salary/package is offered commensurate with experience complete with live in accommodation.
Annual Bonus based on profit share
