An exciting opportunity to join an independent, non-profit, government-backed energy organisation, who are looking for a Public Affairs Manager, in either London or Edinburgh.
Within the role, you will lead engagement efforts for the company’s smart meter rollout with political and professional stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Public Affairs Manager, you'll devise and execute public affairs plans to influence stakeholders in Scotland, Wales, and local authorities across Great Britain. You'll contribute to a dynamic team, driving support and awareness for smart meters. Primarily focusing on Scotland, you'll also support Welsh and GB-wide initiatives. Providing strategic advice to senior leadership on political landscapes in Scotland and Wales is also key.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the public affairs activities in Scotland, including outreach and advocacy to opinion-forming audiences, events, and presence at external events held by third parties
